The Northwest Junior Rodeo Association (NJRA) is an
organization dedicated to the sport of junior rodeo, youth and families, and
just plain good-old All-American fun through the spirit of friendly
competition. The NJRA is based in the Puget Sound area of western Washington
State and holds junior rodeos throughout the spring, summer and fall.

One of the oldest and most exciting sports in America is the sport of
rodeo! The NJRA is host to almost 200 youth members from the ages of 2 to 18
years old. Each year these young athletes compete at sanctioned rodeos
throughout Western Washington in an attempt to earn points and the opportunity
to compete at the NJRA Finals in the fall. These young people continue to show
their commitment to the sport of rodeo through their hard work and care of their
animals all year long.
The NJRA will continue to keep the sport of rodeo and the western way of life
alive and well in the youth of Western Washington. We will continue to build a
reputation of promoting good old fashioned morals and values in our young
competitors.

Buckaroos = 5 and under
Pee Wees = 6 to 8
Junior Boys and Junior Girls = 9 to 13
Senior Boys and Senior Girls = 14 to 18
